Wilderness Paddle & Hike - Hardangervidda Expedition
Hardangervidda Expedition

Wilderness Paddle & Hike

A 7-day premium adventure — 5 days paddling remote lakes and hiking wild plateaus, with comfortable arrival and departure.

What to expect

Five days of adventure and calm in Norway's largest mountain plateau

Paddle across crystal-clear mountain lakes, hike between valleys and ridges, and camp beneath vast skies — this 5-day wilderness expedition lets you experience Hardangervidda at its most authentic. Guided by local experts, you'll travel through a landscape shaped by glaciers, weather, and time itself.

Each day combines gentle paddling and rewarding hiking, covering roughly 10–20 km at a comfortable pace. Together, we navigate the route, set up camp in wild places, and enjoy evenings around the fire with warm meals and good company. Expect a mix of adventure and tranquility — moments of effort balanced with deep calm.

No previous paddling experience is required. A normal level of fitness and an enjoyment of life outdoors are enough. Your guide provides all instruction, ensuring everyone feels confident and part of the team. The route and pace are adjusted to suit the group and weather conditions.
