In order to confirm your booking we require a 30% deposit of the total course / guide fee. The balance of fee is due 30 days before commencement.

Weather Guarantee
For our guided climbs in Rjukan we have a weather guarantee. This means that if conditions should make it impossible to climb at all we will use additional days to make sure all our clients get what they expect out of there course. In cases when clients cannot stay longer we offer credit for you to come back later in the season.
1) We rarely cancel trips due to weather conditions and instead try to offer alternative options to original trip. We reserve the right to cancel a trip if the guide or instructor considers local conditions and/or the clients abilities, to compromize with maintaining the safety for the group.
2) If a trip must be cancelled because the safety of the participants can not be guaranteed, we offer an alternative activity. Our policy for refunding the paid amount, if a trip is cancelled due to weather or local conditions, is the same as for cancellations made by clients.
3) For cancellations made by clients, outside of 30 days, we reserve the right to retain 30% of the full fee. For cancellations made within 30 days of the trip / course commencement date we reserve the right to retain 75% of the full fee. Refunds are paid within 60 days after the date when the trip was scheduled.
4) Force Majeure: Rjukan Adventure's failure to perform any term or condition of the agreement between Rjukan Adventure and the client(s), as a result of conditions beyond its control such as, but not limited to, war, strikes, fires, floods, acts of God, governmental restrictions, power failures, or local weather conditions, shall not be deemed a breach of the agreement.
